Ruth-Ann J. Thompson has a love for music and a passion for writing.

As a motivational speaker, she has spoken in many venues. And as a published author, she has written articles on Autism and Parenting Teens and co-authored an article about the importance of growing like a tree planted by the rivers of water.

She is the editor-in-chief of the quarterly women’s newsletter, Intimate Moments and is a certified Grief Recovery Counselor.

In the fall of 2001, the Lord combined her love and passion by granting her a new gift of song-writing. To date she has written over 50 songs; including praise and worship songs nationally used by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is married to Pastor Kirk U. Thompson of the Abundant Life SDA Church in Philadelphia, PA.

They are the parents of six children, Jai, Jason, Brandon, Austin, Jordan and Alexandra.

One of her favorite Bible verses is found in Job 23:10, “But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.”

She longs to meet Jesus in the air when He returns to take us home to live with Him forever.
